Building an IT infrastructure is a very expensive proposition, especially for small businesses. This presentation will explore the new trend of cloud or grid computing, using off-site resources for storage, content delivery, data processing, and more. This presentation will detail several cloud computing platforms, including Amazon.com web services, which we are using at Allegheny College. Whether you want to start the next platform, using the “cloud” makes financial and scalability sense.
