Technology Council of Northwest PA

The IT Network is committed to providing maximum technology benefits to all members through programs and services that educate, engage and facilitate utilization of a national and regional human network.  This network includes IT professionals, telecommunications professionals, providers, analysts and executives.
The IT Network's goals are:

1. The Business Intelligence & Technology Summit
2. The IT Lunch'n Learn Series for Emerging Tech
3. The region's first IT & Telecom Needs Assessment
4. Creation of Student IT Chapters
5. The region's first TeleHealth Network
6. Creating job/internship opportunities between University & Industry
7. Obtain grant monies for technology training

Mission Accomplished:

• The region's first Student IT Chapter was formed with the sponsoring school Penn State Shenango. 
• On February 13, 2008 the region's first TeleHealth Forum was held at the Great Lakes Industrial Technology Summit in Erie, PA.  Hospitals, long term healthcare, telecom providers and industry took initial steps in formulating a government relations and deployment strategy.
• www.ValuableJobs.com is the region's first online clearing house and relation tool for connecting IT students with industry.
