The mission of KIZ Erie is to help technology companies develop and launch their products by creating an environment to expedite access to resources and talent.

KIZ Strategies
- Introduce a tech entrepreneur to the technology-based economic development community.
- Counsel companies in taking advantage of grants and tax credits.
- Utilize our partners to case manage a company through the business process.
- Provide networking opportunities for tech entrepreneurs.
- Facilitate University-based R&D relationships for product development.
- Work closely with the Erie Technology Incubator methodology.

KIZ Results
In the last three years, KIZ Erie has assisted over 35 tech startups in the region.  These companies have received over 1mm in tax credits, created over 150 jobs, invested over $650,000 in R&D, and injected over 1mm into University R&D.
